07. Regional Planning CRP

The Calgary Regional Partnership (CRP) is made up of 13 municipalities across South Central Alberta that have come together to thoughtfully plan for the future, share resources together and better coordinate services and infrastructure. Over 10 years, the CRP developed the Calgary Metropolitan Plan (CMP) and in 2009 submitted it to the Government of Alberta for approval.

Question:  What is your policy on regional planning and cooperation and in particular your opinion on the Calgary Regional Partnership and the Calgary Metropolitan Plan?

Question:  Will you legislate the Calgary Metropolitan Plan in its amended form and apply it to all communities in the Calgary region, including the County of Rocky View and the Municipal District of Foothills?
